Salesforce.com Best Apps of 2008 Announced

By way of the linkedin.com grapevine, I’ve just heard Salesforce.com has released their Best Apps of 2008.

The awards include:

  • Best Data Cleansing Tool
  • Best Data Integration Tool
  • Best Demand Generation App
  • Best Document Management App
  • Best Mass Email Tool
  • Best Marketing Automation Solution
  • Best Productivity Tools
  • Best Recruiting App
  • Best Sales Forecasting App
  • Best Sales Intelligence App
  • Best Service & Support App

Congrats to the companies who hit it out of the park in 2008!

    Adam, thanks for picking this up!

    Other than the banner on AppExchange it was a rather quiet ‘ta-dah’ for Salesforce.com. Probably challenging for them to do a press release or anything like that since it could be seen as preferential treatment of certain partners. But hey, democracy is messy.

    Anyway, it’s great to see which apps are actually most used and appreciated by Salesforce.com’s 1.1+ Million users!

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for the exposure. My company produced a forecasting app that won in our category. Some of our competitors are significantly better funded that us so we have to really burn brain cells to put out product that resonates with sales managers. It was really satisfying to see our customers help us get the nod from Salesforce!
