Or not. In a new post on the En Avant blog, Jim Donovan suggests that systems like Salesforce.com and Zoho will not be the IT department killers many of us were hoping for.
As long as technology still has moving parts, pieces to connect, and people who have etc I think he’s right. There will always be a need for IT related services inside any size of company. However, IT departments need to evolve and the advent and major trend towards SaaS is only escalating this need in my opinion..
