Benioff Guest Article at TechCrunchIT
August 5, 2008
Well, taking Friday off to enjoy the long weekend here at SFDC HQ in Vancouver I missed something that really aught to have been on our front page.
Marc Benioff, man and legend behind Salesforce.com, has produced a guest article for TechCrunchIT. If you haven’t already read it, read it!
He goes through Web 1.0, 2.0, and then speculates on inevitable 3.0 while referencing Red Bull, Hot Pockets, and CODA! I won’t dare try to judge it, I’ll just leave it to you to get what you can from it. My only comment might be that, well, is Web 2.0 really so close to being done that we need to start thinking about 3.0? I guess that’s the way the times are changing, now that 2.0 is hot the heroes and martyrs won’t even wait to profit from it before they move on to the next, better solution.
The customer really is king.
